The supply module provides the DC link voltage of 560 V via a direct supply without a transformer.
The supply module coordinates the higher-level tasks for managing the axis controller data and the data communication of the DARC2 system to the fieldbus interface and the service interface.
The V15-20-25 supply module provides the following functions in the DARC2 automation system:
- Direct current energy (intermediate circuit) for the digital axis controller
- Control of the data communication to the digital axis controllers via the DARC system bus
- Data transmission to a higher-level control center. Fieldbus connection to Profi-DP bus or CAN bus possible
- For parameterization, commissioning and simple axis positioning via PC. Is implemented by default in CAN.
Equipment:
- Power 15 kVA.
- CAN bus fieldbus interface, with CANopen interface protocol, with all functionalities of the DARC2 system.
- Additional encoder interface, optionally for incremental encoders or SSI data interface (absolute encoder with Gray code).
- Interpolation Calculator (IPR) (provides the computing power for coordinated movement of multiple axes).
- Service interface / RS-232 for setting up and parameterizing the DARC2 system.
- Override potentiometer connection to limit the traversing speed of the axes.
